I have found that the best Forth, The Three Hunters! deck is with heroes with high . Through the contract, that can be boosted even higher, while the restricted attachments boost their combat stats. I included Song of Hope for the many extra resources.
Éowyn quests every round, as she can quest with 5 turn 1, which is huge in Forth, The Three Hunters! decks. You want to quickly find Snowmane and Golden Shield, so she can help Elfhelm defend. Because of Elfhelm’s ability, she gets +1 from Snowmane. +2 when the contract is flipped. One of the Golden Belts goes on Éowyn, so that Windfola can be attached to her. Her ability allows me to discard the extra restricted attachments I don’t need, to make more use of them.
Attachments: Snowmane, Golden Shield, Ancestral Armor, Golden Belt, Windfola, Song of Hope, The Favor of the Lady.
I chose Glorfindel for his high and . He’s straight forward, quest him, ready him, and attack with huge amounts of . (He can attack for 5 turn 1. Sounds familiar, right?) Feel free to take Firefoot out and put in Rohan Warhorse if you want to attack with Glorfindel more.
Attachments: War Axe, Rivendell Blade, Firefoot/Rohan Warhorse, Golden Belt, Blade of Gondolin, Unexpected Courage, Onward Into Battle, Sword-sheath, Song of Hope.
His main purpose is to defend, but when he has either Unexpected Courage or Onward Into Battle he also quests. Since I also have Éowyn to help defend, I won’t always need to use Armored Destrier’s ability. In the early game, it will be helpful, but when Éowyn has her attachments it won’t be needed as much, especially since Glorfindel can take out an enemy very quickly, so you probably won’t need to defend it twice. I do have Ingold in the Sideboard, in case you just want a tad more . If you decide to use him, use Celebrían's Stone instead of Armored Destrier.
