First thank you Kjeld for Navigating the Brandywine Pursuit with the Blue Wizards. It's realy a fantastic deck and it inspired me for this deck.
Setup Choose Thurindir as Alatar's companion to bring Keep Watch into your hand during setup. Play Fulfil Your Oath during setup (King of the Dead, Man of the Mountain and Dweller of Dunharrow go into your deck). You can play this Side Quest due it's in setup phase and so ignores sphere. The starting threat value will be 32 in total due to At the End of All Things and Rods of the Five. Play Blue Staff from your collection at the end of the setup.
Fellowship build-up Resolve Keep Watch as soon as possible for the -1 on the minions. Use Thurindir to ready Alatar with At the End of All Things. If you get The Long Defeat during the first 3 turns then play it on the first main quest. Resolve Fulfil Your Oath if you can in the 2nd or 3rd turn. The oathbreakers come into play via the side quest so it doesn't need a resource match. They can help you to survive the first 3 turns. As soon as Thalion becomes a hero you can play them from discard, as Thalion will gain from having Fulfil Your Oath in your victory pile. Try to get Double Back with either Word of Command or Blue Staff. It's nice to have Strider in your first hand, so that you can play it on Alatar and don't have to exhaust to quest with him. The +2 is a nice addition.
Middle game If you play the Brandywine Pursuit scenario then resolve it as soon (actually just after) you flip your contract. Get Thalion from your deck with At the End of All Things if you don't have him already. Thalion will have the , and resource sphere. If you had The Long Defeat on the main quest you can heal your characters if need be or get 2 cards. Build-up for the end-game. try to get some spells, traps, blades or shield. Don't forget that as soon Thalion becomes a hero you will loose the on Alatar. With Woodmen's Path, The Galadhrim's Greeting and Double Back you will have some threat reducement. Luin Cultist will make your spells cheaper or return them from discard.
End game Depending on scenario of course. If you need allies then get the Oathbreakers from your discard or if you are able turncoat a strong minion. By now Thurindir gives 6 . With Thalion and Alatar you will have at least 12. If Thalion has both Legacy Blades on him he will have 8 and will be a nice beatstick.
