Whispers 1349

Hi comu ,

A new deck with the card of the day yesterday: Elfhelm.

There is a long time I want to build something with Prince Imrahil, it's the perfect moment with an ally who are going to leave play as more as possible! And which Hero become the best when an ally is discarded from play ? Obviously our GOAT Thengel!!! And cherry on the cake: At the End of All Things! :D

Deck tech: Almost all of my allies are Warriors, I use the discarding effect of Elfhelm and Deeping Bowman or Dwarven Sellsword to put into play all of the big allies from my deck!

After flipping my contract I grab Mutual Accord and Gúthwinë to play this last on Prince Imrahil.

I really love this Elfhelm ! A big 5 for me!

Have fun

is cool i thought before you need a tactic-resource for Elfhelm ability, but you only need rohan. it supports also the warrior trait i like that.

what about Astonishing Speed if a real big questing round is needed? (specially in the round where Mutual Accord is used)

Thanks Doomguard! I am not a big fan of Astonishing Speed because it's extremely expensive and in this deck I very few resources ;)

it seems to me a good option after flipping, in some szenarios (e.g. pellenorfields where u can clear the staging with one good quest/charge, or everywhere where a massive questpush is needed to finish the game there are some out there) so not every time used, but when it makes a really impact.

else, guthwine after flipping could sometimes be a bit winmore, not?

Maybe but I need to add it in X3 and it is a dead card before because Mutual accord and Gutwine are already my 2 key cards! Because yeah, Gúthwinë is absolutely not winmore after flipping, iit s essentially the point of my deck lol

as far as i see it:

the mainpoint is to get cheap allies after discarding from Thengel

you have 6 cards for 1 res (3 Dwarven Sellsword and 3 Elfhelm ) and a few more for 2 res.

until flipping you mostly used 3 of them, how many do you need? its easy to use about 3-4 more even without Gúthwinë i think getting more than 7 allies cheap is winmore, specially most games are over the critical point at round 7 and you can use Thengel only once per round.

perhaps it is understandable. i think there can be done more.

but if it is for you only all about getting the ally back after flipping , have fun ;) thx for the deck (even if i see a different focus)

I understand your point, but you miss something, I have a few draw cards, so my mechanic is, and that change a bit than always LOT OF DRAW AND LOT OF RESOURCES, to recycle my discard pile to don't have need to draw a lot. ;D
