jww has a newer deck inspired by this one: A Higher Engagement on the Burglar's Turn

"The stories that matter are the ones that are remembered."

This deck is built around The Burglar's Turn and the idea that the greatest treasures are not only weapons or gold, but the memories, friendships and courage that remain after great adventures have ended.

Frodo Baggins, Sam Gamgee and Tom Cotton lead a company that proves the Shire is not a place that needs saving forever. When danger returns, its people are ready to stand together.

Frodo Baggins carries the weight of the past and the wisdom gained from his journey. Sam Gamgee represents the courage of the ordinary person who steps forward when friends and home are threatened. Tom Cotton brings the strength of the Shire together, turning farmers, villagers and friends into a united force.

With a starting threat of only 23, the deck aims to control engagements while building a strong Hobbit community. Farmer Maggot, Rosie Cotton, Pippin, the Bywater Shirriffs and the other allies of the Shire create a growing force that becomes stronger together.

The treasures discovered through The Burglar's Turn are the legacy of the great adventures of the past.

The Red Book of Westmarch represents the story of the Shire itself. As the tale is remembered, every Hobbit who joins the quest finds new courage, allowing the whole company to rise together.

Raiment of War gives Boromir a new role: not as the hero of Gondor, but as a guardian of the Shire. As the only Warrior among the allies, he becomes the shield that protects the smaller folk when the greatest dangers arrive.

Other treasures such as Sting, Dagger of Westernesse and Hobbit Cloak allow the heroes of the Shire to carry the tools needed for the challenges ahead.

The company is supported by trusted friends:

Halbarad helps keep enemies within reach of the company's strategy. Boromir provides the strength to face the strongest foes. Gandalf brings fireworks when the Shire needs it most.

Through Raise the Shire and Taste it Again!, the company shows its resilience. Friends return, old treasures are rediscovered, and the lessons of the past continue to guide the present.

It is a story about the Precious small folk.

And tales told at The Red Dragon.
