Premise
This is one of my favorite "balanced" Forth, The Three Hunters! decks (as in a deck running the contract and being able to hold its own in solo decently due to it being able to quest, defend and attack at the same time). The idea is simple - use the card advantage Saruman provides through cards like Word of Command, Deep Knowledge and especially Peace, and Thought to get out as many restricted attachments as possible before ensuring an early contract flip.
How To Play
The one card I usually mulligan for is Peace, and Thought, which is the most important card in the deck and really helps you get going in otherwise sometimes a card-starved environment. With the readying abilities of Boromir and Saruman, the exhausting part of the events ability is almost always a non-issue, with this even being easily able to play even multiple copies of said event in the first refresh phase. From there on, you load up on attachments, flip the contract ASAP (usually in round 2 or 3), cancel treacheries with A Test of Will and reduce your threat late-game through Helm of Secrecy and Aragorn (thus the name of the deck).
Considerations
Tireless Thoroughbred and Unexpected Courage can really help out in higher player counts, as can Waters of Nimrodel in a select few damage-intensive quests. Desperate Alliance can be used to share the ability of Aragorn in higher player counts while Hasty Stroke is a great include if you are worries about shadow effects.
Enjoy!!!
Really nice idea and a deck I will try. A good deck, as usual :-)
