Preferred Player Count: 2-4

Rating: .5

Premise

A fun little deck geared around Saruman's Staff and Song of Eärendil for higher player counts to provide the whole table with the benefit of the many useful Doomed events without them having to raise their threat significantly while sneaking in Gandalf continuously and thus providing some decent attacking output (through his direct damage as well as your high-attack heroes). Halfast Gamgee is your Messenger of the King.

How To Play

I try to look for card draw or Saruman's Staff/Heirs of Earendil early on to really get into full supporting mode. You then aggressively support the table with your many Doomed effects, tanking everyone's threat through Song of Eärendil before using Helm of Secrecy to transform Saruman into Aragorn or just crashing out of the game after providing a lot of upside.

Considerations

Warden of Healing is always a fine include in higher player counts. Steward of Gondor is not at all needed for you but can be given to another player if no one is running it, Defiant Challenge is not a great card but can have some decent use here. Reckless Attack is fantastic if there are direct damage effects somewhere on the table and/or you go up against quests with low-hit point enemies. Waters of Nimrodel is a nice silver bullet for damage-intense quests, especially (again) in higher player counts.

Enjoy!!!
