This is the deck I used on Pyrkon 2016 convention during the "Banner of the Lonely Mountain" LotR LCG event. Quest used was Battle of Five Armies (standard difficulty). I played the deck in two games. First a 3-player game (using Damrod, Faramir and Legolas as heroes) and then a really epic 5-player game that lasted 2 hours and we cycled through the encounter deck 4 times before finally getting to stage 5, getting rid of all 5 Bodyguards of Bolg (we had to proxy one) and attacking Bolg with all attack power we could to deal him 40ish wound and emerge victorious. That game I used Damrod, Haldir of Lorien and Bard the Bowman, the other 12 heroes used were Gloin, Gimli, Thalin, Dain Ironfoot, Bifur, Beravor, Hama, Legolas, Beregond, leadership Aragorn, Eleanor and Prince Imrahil.

The deck should do decent job against any quest where you have to deal with lots of small and medium size enemies (remember to check if there are enemies with 0 defense, if not, replace Straight Shot with something else). You want to trigger both Damrod's abilities each turn (Ranger Spikes is the best trap, especially in version with Faramir) and then you have plenty of tricks to get rid of enemies before they deal any damage to you. The deck is also quite good when battle questing. Defense is a weak spot so make sure there is a deck with sentinels around because from time to time you will need their help.
