Hobbits kill everything, while Gandalf smokes his pipe
Description
The hobbit deck is a pretty consistent killer of high level enemies, especially with boons added by campaign mode. Most of the cards are meant to support this. With steward of gondor and errand riders it can also supply the Gandalf deck with needed resources once the board is stabilized. Westfold Outrider is especially useful as you can use him to engage enemies, that usually can't be engaged voluntarily (Knife in the dark) or accidentally got pulled by the Gandalf player.
The Gandalf deck is there to manage threat, cancel treacheries and shadow cards as well as big questing numbers. It can also do a lot of damage as well with flame of anor and Brok on the deck (use Gandalf's pipe often) and Herugrim on Eowyn.
So far the first saga quests felt almost too easy...
Lovely. My fellowship for the first Saga is similar, but Gandalf shares the deck with Leadership Denethor and Cirdan. Lets you pull off a turn 1 ally Gimli if the stars align. Your combination seems to be a bit more efficient, though. Love the inclusion of Westfold Outrider and Brok, he somehow never crossed my mind in a Gandalf deck, but is a no-brainer for damage! Ithilien Pit is an interesting pick. Leaves room for rotating in Frodo's Intuition, depending on the quest.
