Thematic Helm's Deep

I wanted to build a thematic fellowship specifically for Helm's Deep, with the Rohan deck doing most of the work defending while the Silvan deck supports with ranged attacks, traps, and healing. The general goal is not to try to overpower the quest, but to control the pace of the defense and survive long enough to reach the ride out.

The Rohan deck wants to get a lot of allies onto the table early, using Théoden and Westfold Horse-breeder to help get the board established. Erkenbrand is the primary defender and ideally gets loaded up with Armored Destrier and Hauberk of Mail, while Warden of Helm's Deep and Háma provide additional defensive options. Elfhelm and the various Mounts/Songs help get some extra value out of the heroes, while Éomund, Gamling, Gúthwinë, and Burst into Song provide some useful readying and ally recursion as the battle drags on.

The Silvan deck is built to do most of the damage killing. Haldir, Legolas, Galadhon Archer, Marksman of Lórien, and Rúmil give it plenty of ranged attack so that the Rohan player can take most of the engagements while the Silvan deck shoots across the table. Ranger Spikes helps keep some enemies under control, and Bow of the Galadhrim, Rivendell Blade, Hands Upon the Bow, and Quick Strike help make sure dangerous enemies do not stick around for long. The Lore cards are mostly there for support, with Warden of Healing, Galadhrim Healer, and Lembas helping deal with Archery and keeping Erkenbrand healthy enough to continue defending.

Both decks are intentionally capable of contributing just enough questing without having to exhaust the entire board. Sword that was Broken is a big part of that once the Rohan ally swarm gets going, while Gimli + Grappling Hook gives the Silvan deck a nice emergency option when more willpower is suddenly needed.
