Premise

My take on a thematic Dale deck, utilizing Dale's trademark attachment synergy with its (only) available heroes. Brand son of Bain is of course the cornerstone of the archetype with his draw and willpower boosting while Bard son of Brand enables you to play a host of strong tactics attachments for some rather useful combat capabilities. Lanwyn is the odd one out here and I would definitely not run her if this deck would be non-thematic, her statline is however still quite useful, especially in higher player counts. Cards like Legacy of Númenor, Steward of Gondor and Arwen Undómiel should definitely make the cut normally but are excluded here for thematic reasaons.

How To Play

Seeing King of Dale early is very good. It is almost always the card I mulligan for and seldom shuffle away. I usually (but not always of course) prioritize playing attachments on attachment-free characters to maximize Brand's drawing ability rather than loading up characters with multiple attachments. One thing to keep in mind is that Valiant Determination is not an item and therefore cannot be moved by Long Lake Trader, so it is the only attachment you want to play a bit more careful, the rest I just quickly throw down on a free ally and rearrange them afterwards if needed.

Considerations

Warrior of Dale becomes a very good prospect in higher player counts, as does Double Back (as usual). Mariner's Compass also gains value in multiplayer as well and is really good against some quests in solo, I usually prefer it to Map of Rhovanion which I am not the biggest fan of to be honest. Warden of Healing is not a great thematic fit but worth the include for a number of quests if you want to compromize. Legacy of Númenor would definitely be in the deck would it not be strictly thematic, so if you consider that not a hard theme-break, include it.

Enjoy!!!

How to play Warden of Healing in this deck? Enlighten me please!

No, just an oversight. The deck had Beravor in the sideboard at one stage, I seemed to have forgot putting the Warden out of the sb. Can be replaced by pretty much anything in the sideboard ... Steward of Gondor/Galadriel are good if you want to make more thematic concessions, Squire's Helm or Spare Pipe are maybe more thematic fits.

I do miss some comfortable healing in a Dale archetype deck with Bard and Brand (and without a Lore hero). 3 copies of Messenger seem a bit weak and unreliable for me. For a second I thought this sideboard had an answer. :)

you can add Healing Herbs Bard son of Brand can play it and attach to himself, or some Dúnedain Remedy

Yes, if you want more healing I recommend Dale Messenger if you need a one-time to prevent damage from overwhelming you or (as @doomguard rightfully points out) Dúnedain Remedy if you are worried more about consistent pressure
