Building around Mr Elf Haldir of Lórien!
Galadriel can slow the game down by questing (if youb have Nenya) or to mitigating the end of turn threat raise. With Unexpected Courage, it gets better, you dont have to choose anymore!
Merry gives tatic access with minimal threat and allows Haldir to potentially attack twice.
Derndingle Warrior takes care of defend.
Wellinghall Preserver and Ioreth give healing.
Nenya gives Galadriel lore icon which makes it easier to pay for the relatively expensive lore allies.
Daeron's Runes, Foe-hammer and Entmoot should make sure that you are not top decking.
Galadriel's Handmaiden and Elrond's Counsel helps dealing with threat in case that ever becomes an issue. You can swap either of these out with A Test of Will if you anticipate Treachery Cards.
Rhovanion Outrider can help with location control. You can swap this out with Northern Tracker if you needed that extra boost. That will come at a cost though (literally).

just saying, Merry cannot support Haldir of Lórien when he uses his ability, and you will rarely engage 2 enemys at a time, so Merrys ability seems worthless here.
or do i oversee something? i think it will be better in soloplay with Éowyn instead of Merry
