Hello,

I read Alep's Free To Choose List, we can give the trait Minstrel to Rivendell Minstrel.

So it changes my The Last Alliance Dale/Minstrel deck.

I have more allies so i decided to play a hero : Tom Bombadil.

This brings another change : I play more songs.

We can manage many ennemies with the Tom Bombadil / Hey Dol! Merry Dol! combo.

This deck quest a lot too, all our heroes and allies are good for that.

We have plenty resources thanks to King of Dale, The Last Alliance and (for solo) Steward of Gondor. If we play multi, we can play Love of Tales instead of the steward.

We draw ton of cards with Gléowine, Rivendell Minstrel, Brand son of Bain, An Unexpected Party, Bilbo Baggins, Galadhrim Minstrel and Long Lake Fisherman.

In this deck, Guardian of Esgaroth shines enourmously ! They will have 3 songs easily inclunding Let Us Sing Together so we have a 6 / 4 / 4 / 4 with just songs... and this 6 / 4 / 4 / 4 doesn't exhaust to quest ! It's very fun :)

We manage location with Rhovanion Outrider, Bilbo's Walking Song and Map of Rhovanion.

I plan to play it with a deck without so I go for 3 A Test of Will but for solo we can play only too.

We can exhaust the contract for many reasons (not exhaustive) :

  • Play a minstrel thanks to King of Dale
  • Attach a song to a Dale (most needed)
  • Dale with a song doesn't exhaust to quest
  • Each Dale and Minstrel with a player attachment get +1

Enjoy !

Nice deck -- I've been testing a very similar build myself, and it's quite fun. Did you consider Lamenter of the Lost in place of Galadhrim Minstrel? Can boost your attack potential a good deal and provides some more direct damage soak -- easily playable with King of Dale or Daughter of Withywindle. Also, possibly one Song of Travel?

I also made this deck trying to maximize advantage of Guardian of Esgaroth's stats by combining Goldberry with Narya for super-guardians: ringsdb.com

Thank you kjeld and Whisp !

@kjeldI like your deck too. Narya with boosted Guardian of Esgaroth is very cool.

I considered Lamenter of the Lost yes ! In my tests I had often a lot resources (Steward of Gondor and King of Dale is maybe overkill for that) so I needed more draw. With more cards/songs, I kill ennemies thanks to Tom Bombadil.

But if i cut the Steward of Gondor, (in multi for exemple) it's definetly a good choice.
