Dwarven Defenders of Annuminas

Description

This fellowship was inspired by a recent 6-player epic play of Siege of Annuminas. I know dwarves are cheaty, but it feels like this epic format is hard enough to warrant throwing the dwarves into the gap! I'm trying to draw on all the Dwarven strengths I can.

The Leadership/Lore deck is designed to get a questing swarm out quickly and send card draw and resources access the table: Steward should go on Oin and King Under the Mountain is the best on the Spirit/Tactics deck as well. The language lets you discard the extra card which can trigger Hidden Cache, Ered Luin Miner etc. Legacy of Durin should stay on the Lore/Leadership side since it will be dropping more allies.

Narvi's belt should go on Thorin to help with Lore resources. The Not Idle/Lure of Moria combo will most often be beat used to gain Lore resources on Ori, or give to Thorin if he has the Belt.

The Tactics/Spirit deck should take most of the early enemies, but once it starts giving weapons to the other player, hey should both be competent combat decks. Between Well Equipped and Master of the Forge, you should be able to get a couple Citadel Plates on Gimli for a reduced cost.

The Stargazers should be there to probe into the Dwarven subconscious to make all the mining more accurate. the Raiment of War works well on the Longbeard Sentry, Azain or any other Warrior. The Longbeard Sentry can be turned into a 4 defense and 6 hitpoint defender if it has raiment and Hardy Leadership.

If the quest is a long one, the T/S deck should probably add Will of the West to recycle the deck. Or the sideboard events could be added to pad the deck.

Thror's Map and Thror's key really help the game pacing in Annuminas because every location brings a new enemy or two! Unexpected Courage should go on Gimli first so he can dispatch two big enemies a turn, then I find its best on Dain so he can defend as needed then ready to defend again as needed or boost his army's attack. Thorin is obviously a good target for it as well so he can quest for 4 then attack as well.

Let me know what you think! Would a different sphere pairing be stronger? would a different Lore hero help power up faster?
