As seen played on Rob’s Gaming Table:
Use these decks together for both scenarios in the The Dark of Mirkwood add-on Scenario Pack.
They are based on only using cards that are from the Revised Core Set.
Notes: Location Lock, Threat Reduction & High Questing Willpower is what to expect. Especially for the second scenario: The Caves of Nibin-dûm.
Boon Cards: Attach the Leadership Sphere ability to Eowyn
Attach the Tactics Sphere ability to Aragorn
Steward of Gondor should go on Eowyn to help for the high cost spirit cards. She can also tap into Theodred’s resource pool with the boon ability in Campaign Mode.
Get Faramir & The Northern Trackers out as early as possible. Faramir is better suited in the Eowyn deck. If tactics draws him first & Stand & Fight is in the other hand, then tactics can just discard it towards beefing up questing.
Attach the first Unexpected Courage on Beravor to be able to commit her to the quest and then ready her for attacking/ defending or her card draw ability.
Attach Protector of Lorien to discard cards for extra Willpower - first one might be better on the tactics side of the deck as they may have more expendable cards.
Radaghast’s Cunning & Secret Paths are extremely helpful so hold on to them, especially later on.
