Thematic "Breaking Of The Fellowship"

This is the Fellowship I used for Breaking Of The Fellowship in my Thematic Saga run (which includes the 2 PoD quests that are inserted after the 1st quest in Black Riders.) I used the Black Riders version of Frodo for this quest --- to help cancel Fallen Into Evil.

Boons: Anduril, Sting, Mr. Underhill, Old Bogey-Stories, Tireless Ranger (Sam), Noble Hero (Aragorn), Mithril Shirt (not used), Glamdring (not used), Leaf-Wrapped Lembas, Three Golden Hairs

Burdens: Gandalf's Delay, Panicked, Overcome By Terror, Fear of Discovery, Pursued By The Enemy, Overcome By Grief

Remember that when the Argonaut becomes the active location (hopefully in 2nd round), there is no Combat phase --- so no Archery damage!!! Another rules bit --- Hands Across the Bow cannot kill any enemy during Stage 1 (due to +2 armor).

As long as you are not swarmed with enemies in the first 3 rounds, this thematic fellowship works pretty well for this quest. When I got to stage 3, the Aragorn deck did Searching The Woods (clear a location) and the Gandalf deck did Guard The Hobbits (1 player readies all heroes).

I found that the tricky part is managing all the archery damage.
