This is the deck I used to defeat The Dunland Trap one-handed, Progression style, using only cards released at the time.
This quest is quite a challenge with this deck but doable with careful tactical play. The idea is to carefully build out your heroes with attachments while using Silvan synergies to handle enemies. Choose the shadow card enemy for the opening and be sure to kill it turn one.
There is hopefully no need to clear phase 1B earlier than necessary. With Treasure Hunter and King attached, you can build up a hand of four to six cards and plenty of resources before the reset, which should make it viable to survive the last few turns. Importantly, as far as I can determine, King and Treasure Hunter do not draw cards and therefore do not trigger encounter card abilities.
