Mainly another attempt to try out a deck to beat a Journey down the Anduin which is becoming the bane of my existence. Also having recently acquired the Heirs of Numenor box I can gather enough hero's to play a gondor deck to a degree even if lots of cards aren't gondor as such.
There's lots of defence in this one. Between Beregond, Denethor and allies of should be able to hold back the tide of enemies that come of the encounter deck especially allied with some lore benefits with healing and some traps for good measure. Eleanor and the spirit side of things will hopefully bolster and hold the quest side of the things, threat management ect.
There's card draw with ancient mathom, Gleowine and scrying with denethor and henamarth riversong as well so the encounter deck could be manipulated to suit what I really want possible as well.
The main problem here is going to be resources I suspect. No leadership no real bonus to gain more outside of the envoy of the pelagir. But with songs, a minstrel hopefully we can smooth things along a little.
