The Purple Wizard 1151
This is my deck for the nightmare version of Journey To The Crossroads in the Nightmare Campaign Chad and I are doing.
The main goal here was to get Haldir up to 8 attack as quickly as possible. He's got the boon granting him an extra attack from earlier in the campaign, so he just needs to get two weapons ASAP. All but the biggest of the enemies in this quest can be sniped with 8 attack, so we can just kill them in the staging area, avoiding the forced engagement effects.
I can't add it to the deck yet as the card hasn't been released yet, but I have 3 copies of Wilyador here. He's there to provide emergency defense and ranged/sentinel help, as there are treacheries that would cause an attack or an engagement with my deck. Flight of the Eagles can pull back Wilyador, possibly healing him, while putting a perfect-for-this-quest Eagle of the North into the encounter deck. Now go catch an Oliphaunt, good friend!
The rest of the cards are mostly here to deal with the nasty locations this quest features. Will of the West is for Chad's deck, if needed.
