Aoshi312 has a newer deck inspired by this one: Dunedain Rangers !
A powerful deck that mostly focuses on engagement and combat but can quest hard as well thanks to Faramirs readying ability as well as Steed of the North.
Thorongil is primarily in the deck for threat reduction by adding Loragorn but could also be used to pull in Leadership aragorn for more readying. I usually find threat to be the bigger issue though.
I would definitely add Gandalf for card draw if you play this deck solo but Ive mostly been playing it as a fellowship with a support deck.
One note: If you take this deck up against quests with ships, you may want to swap out Dunedain Hunter for Gandalf. Pulling a ship one Dunedain Hunter is probably not worth it. You can also do this if you need some more card draw/threat reduction.
