At the time of building this deck, my collection only consists of all cycles through the end of the Ring-Maker cycle and all released Saga expansions. And one random Treachery of Rhudaur AP because it was on sale.
This deck was built as a potential deck to use at Gen Con 2016 against The Siege of Annuminas. That is part of the reason why the sideboard is rather large. Also, as of this writing cards from The Flame of the West are not available on RingsDB, but I hope to purchase it at Gen Con and use some of the cards in this deck. Therefore:
Beregond - This is a stand-in for the Beregond Spirit Hero in The Flame of the West.
Elfhelm - This is a stand-in for the Prince Imrahil Spirit Ally in The Flame of the West
Basic Strategy:
Get out Prince Imrahil and use Caldara's ability as many times as possible with Fortune or Fate, Map of Earnil, and Dwarven Tomb. Through the discarding of Emery and Eowyn, the discarding and resource generation of the Imladris Stargazer/Zigil Miner combo, and Caldara's ability granting free allies, the goal is to accelerate the development of your board state faster than the encounter deck. Spirit Beregond was chosen because 1) it's the new hotness and 2) The Siege of Annuminas may or may not contain quest stages with the Siege keyword or at the very least, lots of enemies from the start.
Other card options:
-Frodo,Spirt Glorfindel, or Idraen for Beregond - quest/group dependent.
-Sword Thain - I would use this if I owned it, likely dropping some combination of Ancient Mathom, Light the Beacons, or Shadows Give Way which are multiplayer considerations.
