Treebeard generally requires resource acceleration of some sort to work well. He also requires consistent readying. Grima assists in the resource department. Glorfindel grants access to Unexpected Courage and counteracts Grima. Galadriel would also work, but Glorfindel is a simpler solution.
This treebeard line-up is probably my favorite of the many that I've tried. It has a good amount of consistency and is fun to play.
The Keys of Orthanc and Light of Valinor are the most important pieces I think.
I came up with a similar concept (with fewer ents) before finding yours. Great deck!
