Can you tell me about the use of Knights of Minas Tirith without 3 reds?

My guess is: Knight of MT can't use his response, but 3 attack for 3 cost is still decent value and he and Defender of Rammas are the two potential targets for Sword of Morthond. But paying for him with only one tactics hero is another matter.
