LOTRLCGSolo 295

Deck I used to beat Shadow and Flame solo, this includes some of the better secrecy cards. Video below

Look like a fun and different way to beat this quest! I have one question: Why use The Galadhrim's Greeting rather than Elrond's Counsel?

It's very possible that Elrond's Counsel is better. I really didn't think much about which to include, The Galadhrim's Greeting is my go to for threat reduction, but it's possible Elrond's Counsel is better.

Actually, after watching your video, TGG was probably the right choice. Seeing the undefended attacks on Frodo strategy you took, the larger doses of threat reduction were probably better. I thought you were going to try to keep your threat at 0 to prevent the Balrog from attacking. For that strategy, Elrond's council at 0 cost is probably better since your looking for more frequent threat reduction and wouldn't have time to save up for TGG.

I'm confused. Why play secrecy cards when your starting threat is 24. Doesn't secrecy only apply when your threat is 20 or lower? Would have to get TGG, play it, then only have a couple turn window to make secrecy cards work right? Or am I missing something.

Nevermind. Quest card. Derp. This is what I get for looking at decks before I look at the quest.
