More or less a tweak of the Riders of Rohan Starter deck, but man, it's cool seeing cards like A Light in the Dark come back around to be useful. This card was binder fodder for the longest time, but now with Dunhere and Spear of the Mark it functions as a Spirit version of Feint.
Deck piloting is pretty simple: get Arwen or Citadel Plate out onto Fastred as soon as possible. Hirgon quests and drops in allies with a discount. Dunhere loads up with Spears and tears into the staging area.
Quick Strike, Light in the Dark, and Astonishing Speed are your get out of jail free cards for enemies with nasty effects or to avoid getting location locked.
Gandalf is there as a catch all: draw cards, threat reduction, direct damage.
I'm excited to try out Dunhere as I think his staging attack style is pretty unique (other than Haldir). Plus Fastred gives you good threat reduction for bouncing enemies and puts them right into Dunhere's spear. Hirgon is the resource smoother and all around good quester to make the deck run easier.
Looks like good fun. I imagine an early Arwen or West Road Traveller would be super important for early willpower.
