SaltedPork has a newer deck inspired by this one: Saga hobbits - thematic fellowship
The aim is to have decent card draw; get the cloak on Sam and the daggers on Merry and Sam; and use Elf-stone to get Boromir and Faramir into play. This deck has been designed for two-player with an Aragon, Fatty, Gandalf support deck, and is based on a very limited card pool.
