I've always wanted to make a deck with Glorfindel and Aragorn as traveling companions, to use Strider and Light of Valinor on them to quest without exhausting to be ready for the combat phase. But the deck started short of will, without healing and against the clock. This contract has given me that plus that I was missing. Starting with 7 will on the table is already good and later we will get access to lore The idea of the deck is simple. Mulligan for light of valinor and/or strider. This will allow one or both of the heroes to go on a mission without exhausting .

We can prepare one by doing a point of damage to the other with the contract. When we can turn it around, we're going to search Gandalf and Thorongil (if we haven't drawn them before), so we probably have three great characters going on a quest without exhausting. With Thorongil we will also have access to healing (Ioreth and Warden of healing) and greater threat control using Aragorn's refresh action and being able to shoot it without fear with Gandalf.

Everything else is accessory to enhance this even more. The beornings will support us in combat and it will be easy to bring them to the table with the sking-changer. The handmaidens and Arwen to go on a mission. Treebeard is a wonderful ally and in those scenarios that don't suit Gandalf, he can assume the role of him.

Proud hunters give us the resources the contract takes away from us, foe hammer/ancient mathom gives us the draw we don't have (draw isn't that necessary for the deck to work well), Elrond's counsel is obligatory with a Noldor hero, Unexpected courage will allow Aragorn to explode and the ring with inner strength will make for the first rounds of the game calmly to cancel shadows (another option is to start with strength and courage to eliminate enemies quickly)...

In general, it is not the best deck in the game, but it is a very fun one, with simple mechanics and that focuses on the heroes accompanied by the gray wandered.

Nice idea! Consider using Aragorn so you can fetch Strider to start. This will mean running a Mono-Spirit deck though. I made the following deck a while ago. Yours reminded me of it.

That deck that you have commented on is a very good deck. And very thematic!

You could also consider a copy of Ring of Barahir to give Aragorn more HP and perhaps get the Lore cards in play a bit earlier

Sounds really good. She would have eight hit points. It could perfectly be a card from the deck
