Wandalf the Gizzard 2414

You don't see very many Dwarf decks with all the swarms and formidable berserkers running around, but these strong willed, enduring, quiet souls can make for quite the deck! This one has all the hallmarks of a standard mono- deck, with a big Dwarf theme to take care of combat.

The deck doesn't start very quickly, so a hand with some cheap allies that can contribute some solid stats is a good start. Imladris Stargazer + Zigil Miner is of course the ideal mulligan target. Getting to five dwarves is also crucial to activating Oin's dual-sphere and suiting up your heroes for combat.

The game plan for establishing success is to play as many cards as possible, fast. Your heroes really aren't much in terms of stats, and Nori can only keep you away from enemies so long.

Ideally, Nori will be your main defender with Ring Mail, Dwalin will do the killing with an Axe, and Oin will fill in the gaps while your allies handle questing. I've also used Dwalin as a back-up defender and Oin as a primary attacker in combat heavy-quests.

Core Gandalf is key to establishing a strong position early, so make sure you get full mileage from him before you bust out OHaUH Gandalf to bring you over the finish-line.

If you find yourself against an underground quest, Ever My Heart Rises is an incredible addition, and Dwalin will also be exponentially more powerful.

There really isn't much else to say about this particular deck. Just play as many cards as you can as quickly as possible. Will of the West and Ancient Mathom will help keep you rolling. Thanks for reading, and enjoy!
