what about Rivendell Scout? and also, wouldn't Dúnedain Warning be better than Gondorian Shield? it is not restricted ;) Have you tried this deck out? Which adventures?

@bretmichaelswannabeI think the reason for the shield is because if Steward of Gondor is attached, you get the full two defense boost.
