boblafouine 8
This deck is based on the Elladan & Elrohir complementarity and most of all, on their very powerful responses which allow them to replay attack & defense as long as they can spend resources. By reinfocing their respective abilities (Dunedain warning for Elrohir, Dunedain mark for Elladan and Blade mastery for both of them) they can become very efficient fighters.
First challenge: let them earn (Steward of Gondor), exchange (Song of battle, Parting gifts) & save resources using cheap allies (Defender of Rammas, Gondorian Spearman, Guthlaf, Veteran Axehand). As the two heroes act several times per round during the combat phase, we don't need too much powerful allies.
Second challenge: willpower. We must conterbalance the fact they won't necessarly participate to the quest (especially Elrohir who will often stay in defense). That's the reason of the choice of Theoden as third hero. His ability gives a bonus of one willpower point to Elladan, which is not a huge advantage but better than nothing. Attachments (Celebrian's stone, Dunedain quest) & allies (Erestor, Faramir, Gandalf) can also strenghten willpower.
Combos:
Blade of Gondolin attached to Elladan is a good way to speed up the quest completion.
Quick Strike with Elladan at the begining of a round allow him to attack & then questing or doing whatever he wants to do during this same round...
Blade mastery with Elrohir gives him a defense bonus (he can use against several opponents) but also an attack bonus if he attacks after having defending.
