Guily 36

Add : Contract

The Grey Wanderer

Add : Events

3x Far-Sighted

3x Horns ! Horns ! Horns

Put Nenya in play with the contract.

The deck on SDA JCE, in french, including illustrations of missing cards, strategic advices and more.

Disclaimer

The gameplay is oriented on the probe and the control of the ED, but the deck embeds what it takes for combat phase also.

The list may change a bit, but the first tests on medium difficulty quests (Massing at Osgiliath, for exemple) are quite conclusive: the deck is fun, stable and strong enough for Hill Trolls&Co. The gameplay seems to me varied and rich in possibilities to respond creatively to the Encounter Deck.

At least 1 Unexpected Courage would be helpful so Galadriel could use Nenya and her native ability.

@kypatzer You don't need Unexpected Courage at all with the Contract, wich states : "choose TWO : Ready starting hero, add 2 ressources to your starting hero's ressource pool, or heal 3 damages from your starting hero".

I usually exhaust Galadriel for her ability in the planning phase, immediatly readying her + adding 2 ressources with the Contract. In the quest phase, i'm able to use Nenya (this is how i send some willpower in quest turn 1 : with an Ithilien Lookout, a Celduin Traveler, even a Minas Tirith Lampwright)

Results so far (victory - defeat ratio):

Journey across the Anduin 4-0 Massing at Osgiliath 3-0 Nightmare Hunt for Gollum 1-0 Nightmare Road to Rivendell 1-0

The deck is working pretty well in these situations. Now increasing progressively difficulty of trials.

That is awesome... I look forward to acquiring the cards to try this. And completely mess it up as well!

How useful are Sneak Attack and Horns! Horns! Horns! ? I assume they are mostly used for Gandalf and Saruman but can only be used in the planning phase - how abut adding a leadership-icon to Galadriel to use those events in other phases?
