Grandmaster Gorn and the Outland Bois ft:Gal-Daddy marked the precise moment when hip-hop’s golden age transitioned into its modern age, the height of Rivendell hip-hop, and the sound of the greatest rapper of all time at the absolute top of his powers. The album starts with the theater necessary for such a high-stakes debut. Before he became Grandmaster Gorn, Aragorn II (Son of Arathorn II) had been hustling and selling Athelas to make ends meet, experiences he poured into hard-hitting, semi-autobiographical songs after he signed with Undómiel Records in TA 2952. When his A&R twin reps Elohir "Freak 1" and Elladan "Freak Atta" got fired, Aragorn’s future looked uncertain — but that all changed once Grandmaster Gorn and the Outland Bois was released on Elrond's Bad Boy Records in TA 2953. Grandmaster Gorn leavened his raw fatalism with a smooth, subtle sense of humor, perfecting a hard-soft dichotomy that would become a template for decades of artists. From the grandiose cinema of the four skits on “Estel” to the triumph of “Pipin Hob” to the bleak honesty of “Suicidal Thoughts,” the album remains a grim, groundbreaking classic that stared death in the eye and became larger than life.

Dec 21, 2022I'll tell you, friend... it's so much worse than it seems. I just completely misread Sword of Morthond and was putting it on Gorn-Dog to give him Outlands. I've been endlessly pitting a revised version against Raid on the Grey Havens (no real reason, just where I'm at in my progression) without knowing I've been cheating. |

while the writing is funny the deck lacks carddraw and description how to play (what is the default title and what the default attachement from grey wanderer?)
even with estel that only replace a card, the deck will soon get out of steam without additional carddraw. get only 1 card into play per round is not very solid.
Sword of Morthond is totally useless. the only gondor-ally is printet outland.
you can easily make a solid deck out of it, add 3 Master of the Forge and 1 #Gléowine
if you want to make a good deck, add sneak+gandalf and some Grey Companion
Open the Armory can help you to finde the lonely copy of Andúril and/or consider to take more copies you can discard the not used ones with Estel
(Andúril cannot be taken with Galadriel it cost 4 )
