When Elves Talk to Trees

Description

I have always loved Treebeard. He is my favorite character from the Lord of the Rings.

The name of this deck is based on the tale that Treebeard tells to Merry and Pippin when he carries them through Fangorn forest. He tells them of Elves waking up trees and teaching them to talk.

Treebeard honors elves in his communications to the hobbits and even gladly invites Legolas to visit Fangorn after meeting him, while feeling a little unsure of Gimli doing the same.

What if the elves had continued to roam the world and not tightened their borders? What if they had reestablished former relationships with the trees and Ents of Fangorn forest? This fellowship plays around with this concept.

In this Fellowship you want Treebeard to have Elf freind attached as soon as possible. After this occurs he can wear a Cloak of Lorien, wield a Bow of Rivendell, heal and ready with Lembas, and even gain the healing benefits of Silvan Tracker.

Along with the Silvan allies Treebeard brings other Ent allies.

The second deck in this fellowship provides many of the cards mentioned above to Treebeard while also providing a solid Silvan in-and-out of play strategy. Extra bows are meant for Hero Haldir and other Silvan characters to help get some serious ranged damage with Rumil.

The Trees are swarming with Ents and Elves. In a renewed friendship to protect the world from a rising evil Fangorn is on the move.

Wow! Thanks for the spotlight! I really enjoyed making and playing these decks. It was pretty awesome to see my own deck featured.

Many Thanks,

I like to keep an update of good experiences I have had with my decks in the comments.

I just played these decks against the Nin-In-Eilph and had a blast. I played the quest with other decks I have made and got shut down pretty harshly by the quest.

However I beat it on the first try with these decks. I did get pretty lucky with getting the right cards at the right time but both decks were working together really well.

Probably my favorite deck combo to play!
