The Path Less Traveller: The Ring Goes South

I have decided to start a variant on the Saga Campaign. Personally, I felt the strict hero requirements for the majority of the official saga campaign to be more frustrating than fun. My main goal is to balance theme with overall fun for playing each of the quests in the saga all while using as many new cards and archetypes as possible.

2p fellowships will be set up so that one main deck is more strict to the theme of the quest and the other deck is more for support in which it creatively follows theme to some extent but also focuses on trying out new cards and archetypes.

I tried to keep this as thematic as possible with just the 9 members of the fellowship (not counting Elrond and Galadriel) bouncing into play. I forgot how good the original tactics Legolas hero is, especially in a three hunters deck. He was adding 2-6 progress on the active location some rounds. Due to this, I added striders path in the other deck to keep the locations clearing on quest phase AND combat phase. Boromir defended for the board once he was sentinel and fully equipped.

These decks fairly easily handle this quest as long as you don't get a bunch of enemies surging in the first 1-2 rounds.
