A Path Less Travelled: Journey in the Dark

I have decided to start a variant on the Saga Campaign. Personally, I felt the strict hero requirements for the majority of the official saga campaign to be more frustrating than fun. My main goal is to balance theme with overall fun for playing each of the quests in the saga all while using as many new cards and archetypes as possible.

2p fellowships will be set up so that one main deck is more strict to the theme of the quest and the other deck is more for support in which it creatively follows theme to some extent but also focuses on trying out new cards and archetypes.

I kept the powerful three hunters deck similar to the previous quest. Minor changes in the Gandalf deck to allow more attack and readying across the board with Merry (basically when Gandalf deck was first player I could kill their enemies with Merry and Legolas and ready legolas to kill 2 enemies on other side with legolas and rohan warhorse and add 6 progress to the active location).

I thought this quest was really hard. Every time I beat the quest the three hunters deck was 47-49 threat (I threated out once) AND the Gandalf deck had lost Gandalf to balrog and sometimes merry or pippin to the Balrog.

Ready to move on from this one for sure!
