Bard is the man

I built this fellowship around Bard and the yew Bow. And its proven itself so far against Passage Through Mirkwood, Journey Down The Anduin and We Must Away Ere Break of Day

I am also using "only" Cards from the Core Set and the Hobbits, with less than a handfull of other cards which i proxy irl.

in best scenario give him the Great Yew Bow, Strider, some + attachment, and Unexpected Courage For the bosses of course the black arrow. Combined with Bards ability, maybe sword mastery or swift strike, a hilltroll is going down fast.

Try to use Bereavors ability (if possible also need Unexpectec Courage)

Keeping low threat would be great, as the Yew Bow's action is in the combat phase, so encounters have already happened at that time.
