The Nîn-in-Eilph progression

Dwarves are really good against this scenario. You want to see Steward, Song of Wisdom (both go on Balin so he can pay for Lore and shadow effects mitigation), Warden of Healing and some removal for conditions as soon as possible. Hardy Leadership is great because of the Low Provisions treachery that has you distribute an insane amount of damage. King under the mountain and Legacy of Durin are both situational but usually it's better to play them across the table.
