Two-Handed Progression - Return to Mirkwood

Elros 6

Description

Changes from the previous fellowship:

Getting Dáin Ironfoot into a set of decks where he feels relevant required a bit of a rebuild, so not going to note the individual changes. Dáin is a bit awkward without Khazad-dum since most of the dwarves are split between and . The goal of this fellowship is to have the deck take care of early questing and support and then have Dáin to boost the deck into a powerhouse later. Thalin becomes much more appealing to quest with at 2 and Gimli gets 3s in two very relevant stats. Glóin is here mostly because he's in sphere for Dáin and a dwarf. Both decks are now leaning to the other 2:1 ratio for their spheres and are playing as many dwarves as they can. Deck 1 is also trying out as reasonable of an Eagles package as I could fit into it. There's a bit of anti-synergy because you want to prioritize playing your dwarves but dwarves by themselves are only so fleshed out at this point in the card pool. Deck 2 had to cut most of the Rohan package in favor of some allies to rebalance the spheres and get the dwarves in.

I was also able to beat the Massing at Osgiliath with this deck pair on the first go round. Didn't draw terribly good starting hands either. Next up, Dwarrowdelf.
