Gondor & cie

These two decks have amazing synergy. The key piece is Beregon, who should get the first Gondorian Shield, Unexpected Courage, Armored Destrier, and Protector of Lórien. The second Unexpected Courage goes on Beravor, while the third comes back to Beregon. Between the two decks, there are plenty of ways to ready him and pump up his defense.

They’re built mostly from the Revised Core Set (missing the Rohan and Dwarf starter decks), so there’s definitely room for improvement, but they already perform really well together. So far, I’ve cleared the Core Set quests plus Darkness in the Forest of Mirkwood, and scenarios 1–8 of The Angmar Awakens, with only a single loss due to a truly terrible draw. Looking forward to seeing how far these decks can go!
