Thematic Saga - Passage Of The Marshes

This is the Fellowship I used for Passage Of The Marshes in my Thematic Saga run (which includes the 2 PoD quests that are inserted after the 1st quest in Black Riders.) I beat the quest twice on Easy Mode with this Fellowship. I have 2 core sets and used cards thru the Haradrim cycle. Boons: Anduril (not used), Sting, Old Bogey-Stories, Tireless Ranger (Sam), Noble Hero (Aragorn - not used), Mithril Shirt (not used), Glamdring (not used), Leader of Men (Aragorn - not used), Intimidation (Legolas - not used)

Burdens: Gandalf's Delay, Panicked, Overcome By Terror, Fear of Discovery, Pursued By The Enemy, Overcome By Grief, Ill Fate

This is a tough quest. Pulling 2 locations in the first round is very bad news due to lack of questing power, so use Denethor's ability to try and scout. Defeat Gollum ASAP --- sometimes I could do it in the first round --- but usually by the 3rd.

The basic plan: You need as much readying as you can get. Defend as much as possible with Beregond -- preferably with Golden Shield, Armored Destrier and Unexpected Courage attached. Get as many Fast Hitches on Frodo as you can. Steward of Gondor with Heir of Mardil on Faramir.
