this is a high-end combo, that will try carn dum and belegost. will report later how it went. at 1. sign there are not so many issues that support each other. on 2. there are some:

• dain can get sentinel and defend both
• as long as caldara is there or later imrahil,they an get res from denethor
• they fit roles, denethor mainly quest and fight, the other locations, counter and defend
• denethors deck can spend king under the mountain
• with thorongil on dain all dwarfes become better
• strength of arms helps both
• hauberk of mail can be played on dain
