Deadally 2

Haldir of Lórien is the designated lynchpin of the whole deck, as he can make attacks on enemies in the staging area or that engage with the "Come at me, bro" side of the fellowship (with the added benefit of the defense reduction from Aragorn). He is supposed to receive support from the other team in the form of bows to increase his attack, with the goal of being able to one-shot enemies before they can become an issue.

Folco Boffin provides a turn 1 boost to the 'Don't taze me, bro" mindset, in effect offering a threat reduction of 1 while providing extra resources on turn 1, as well, to power out whatever the team has on hand. In a pinch, he can be used as a round 1 or 2 quest boost with his 2 willpower, if you don't find any cards with secrecy or @Strider.

Argalad might be the most important piece of the entire team. I mulligan for Strider every game so I can throw it on Argalad, making him an equivalent quest buddy for Éowyn. On top of that, during the quest he can still use his ability to bring down enemies' threat levels, meaning that Argalad with Strider can essentially contribute 6 willpower to the quest on his own, or he can be held back to join an attack on the other side with his ranged keyword. Things get even more ridiculous if you start putting Mirkwood Long-knife on him, as it boost both his willpower and attack. Argalad is made in this deck to be a complete all-star.

In general, the Lore side of this deck is focused on providng some healing support (but I generally take care to keep my ally count low to take advantage of Strider. Several cards are also included here to give some more location control, which the team as a whole can struggle with otherwise.

Basically, the strategy here is to never engage an enemy, if possible, letting the other side handle the brunt of the defense and combat. This lets Haldir take pot shots at enemies before they can attack and become a nuisance. Good for enemies that refuse to come out of the staging area, or those who are a problem if they get shadow cards!
