This is one of the 2 decks for Uruk-Hai in my Thematic Saga run (which includes the 2 PoD quests that are inserted after the 1st quest in Black Riders.)
Pippin is the captive. Gandalf has switched to the Sam deck (replacing Aragorn) and Gimli replaced him in the other deck (due to Aragorn rules for these quests.)
Boons: Sam has Tireless Ranger. Glamdring is in the deck. "Floating" Aragorn has Noble Hero and Old Bogey-Stories
Big thing to look in opening hand is Gandalf's Staff and/or Wizard Pipe. Your main use of Gandalf's Staff is to give Aragorn resources to spend on readying heroes.
Theme-wise, this deck is the compromise ---- because with 2 players, you need 4 thematic heroes plus the "floating" Aragorn. So this deck kind of represents stuff happening elsewhere --- especially the Sam part. But them's the rules -- and I didn't want the threat increase just for theme. Note that in my thematic run, Gandalf survived the Mines (in fact everyone did), so him being here doesn't bother me as much as Sam.
