I used this deck to beat Dungeons Deep and Caverns Dim (Nightmare Mode) in solo progression. Only cards up to The Dunland Trap were considered.
Outlands are not exactly conducive to the riddle quest, because you have several different costs and all spheres. Going with a mono-Leadership deck was the easiest way to find cards that were somewhat effective and easy for solving riddles.
In choosing sphere, type, and cost, I went with 1 cost events. More than 50% of the cards share type, cost and sphere. Every event chose has at least some utility.
Men of the West is the star of the show in this deck. With riddles putting allies in your discard pile, the cards becomes very valuable; stockpile resources on Hirluin with Steward and pull your allies out at the right time.
I chose Glóin over Sam Gamgee only because it makes Durin's Song potentially useful.
