I'm assuming Gandalf's Search is to dive for Vilya or one of the other attachments? If you have the Shadow and Flame AP then Master of the Forge might be a good addition instead of Gandalf's Search.

I originally added it because I've never used Gandalf's Search before and wanted to try it out. I also thought it could be useful in terms of re-ordering Leadership/Spirit cards in the case I don't have the necessary attachments yet.

However, I found after playing Conflict at the Carrock that Gandalf's Search is just not as good as Daeron's Runes at card draw and not as good at player card re-ordering as Imladris Stargazer.

I will definitely replace Gandalf's Search in this deck. I like the idea of bringing in Master of the Forge. It brings in more allies for Faramir/Sword that Was Broken, and it'll be nice to bring in songs/Aragorn artifacts faster. Plus, the shuffling from MotF combos nicely with the Stargazers.

@JivesMcQuesterI actually hadn't thought about using it to reorder cards. It is just hard to tell looking at decklist sometimes if a card chosen is because of a lack of certain expansions or something else.

Gandalf's Search just stuck out to me because it's a classic over costed card from the early days of the game. In retrospect, Lórien's Wealth is generally a better choice because for 3 you get to draw all the cards while for the same cost Gandalf's Search let's you draw one. Although as you brought up the ability to reorder cards gives it some utility in certain quests or decks where you need a specific card on top of your deck.

I'm glad you liked the Master of the Forge suggestion. He is a pretty solid ally for attachment heavy decks. Keep up the good work testing out different cards :)
