Woah. What do you search for with the Contract?

Whichever card it is, cut 2x of it and add 2x of something else.

@Truckit's not neccesarily the best approach, if the deck is hyper reliant on getting, let's say strider and song of kings into play it's pretty good to play 3x of both - then after drawing your starting hand you can seek the attachment you didn't draw. It can screw your lategame, but in this deck both seem pretty crucial.

The spirit of the deck seems pretty fun, but when playing with a single character you really should lean more into shadow control and cut some terrible cards: Blade Mastery, Resourceful (you won't ever need resources with this deck lol, unless you switch it up and do some gondorian fire shenanigans), Leaf Brooch (same thing applies). This nets you 8 spots for 3x Armored Destrier, 2x Golden Belt, 3x Sterner than Steel.

@Zura, Gotcha,

@Zura you're correct on the reason for the multiple copies of both cards.

This deck is made for a 3 player campaign, and it's not uncommon for us to have 3 or 4 enemies spawned on first round. So, it focuses on defending and killing to allow the others to build safely.

I like your suggestionsfoe shadow cards. Will incorporate them.

Agree with Armored Destrier, as you want as many defense actions as possible out of Grimbeorn. Hopefully your companion decks are running Unexpected Courage, as well.

Along these lines, you might also consider Hold Your Ground!, Magic Ring, and maybe even The White Council to get some more readies out of him.

To make room, in addition to dropping 3x Blade Mastery and 2x Leaf Brooch, I'd also consider dropping both Strider and Song of Kings to 1x. The Song is what you'll always grab with your contract, and if it shows up in your opening hand you can nab Strider as a bonus. The thing is that Strider is simply not all that important for this deck in multiplayer, and it's taking up valuable space for only 2 , which isn't going to do much in a 3-player game. You can also go down to 2x Captain of Gondor as it's unique and not critical. Could probably also drop the Dagger and Unseen Strike to 2x.
