This is the tactics deck I build to introduce new players in the game and that can be played in the fellowship with its fellow Beginner Decks. To see on what I focused for these decks check out the fellowship's description.
This deck focuses on the main aspect of the tactics sphere, combat. It has a strong sentinel defender and ranged attacker, that both can be loaded up with weapon and armor attachments. These can trigger other cards like Foe-hammer and Sterner than Steel, so theres a little bit of synergy here. Éowyn is here cause she's a popular character with a straigthworward and powerful card effects.
The events allow for a lot of attack cancellation and pre-emptive attacking, and Charge into Battle and Thicket of Spears can create memorable big swings in a game, which I think is a cool experience for new players.
To not introduce too many different keywords, I left out Valour cards like Honour Guard and Open the Armory that otherwise would be great fits for this deck.
