The idea for this deck is to use heroes who could have feasibly supported Frodo and his hobbit companions at the start of their adventure. It's based on a very limited card pool and the desire to keep it reasonably thematic is why Fatty is included.
The basic design is to try and get Gandalf's pipe into play quickly and keep your fingers crossed to get Celebrian's Stone on Aragon to smooth the Spirit resources (Galadriel is there to help with all of this and if you get a lucky Sneak Attack combo her effect can be used multiple times). Fatty's only really there to give thematic access to Spirit. There are a few ranged Silvan allies that could use Bow of the Galadhrim to keep the other Hobbit deck safe. Then there's some attachment and event goodies to buff the heroes and cancel effects.
