DECK NAME - Furious Bear

OVERVIEW - The same hero lineup I used in the normal version of this quest seems to still be my preferred lineup for the NM version. Made a few changes to the deck to adjust to some of the NM changes. The previous deck was called "Curious Bear." "Furious Bear" seemed like a good nightmarish deck name.

HEROES

• Beorn - try and keep him healed up nicely early on; take undefended attacks from Frodo if able
• Frodo - quest early; defend in stage 3
• Glorfindel - attach Light of Valinor; if no LOV don't send on the quest as his is more important
• Bilbo Baggins - save resources as much as you can; you don't want a Stage 3 Where Isss It? to end your game

STRATEGY

• OPENING HAND - mulligan for Imladris Stargazer, Light of Valinor and/or Ethir Swordsmans
• STAGE 1/2 - best initial play is Imladris Stargazer; always choose riddle when able; it's okay to fail a "We Hates It" riddle early
• STAGE 3 - don't overcommit assuming you'll make the necessary progress to win as Hiding in the Trees Can ruin your plans; hopefully Gollum isn't boosted too high on and you can Feint or The Wizards's Voice if so
• Envoy of Pelargir - always pay with resources and add a resource to Glorfindel
• ROHAN ALLIES - this is the "type" you will want to name for the appropriate riddle
• OUTLANDS ALLIES - most important allies to get out (other than your first copy of Imladris Stargazer
• Imladris Stargazer - key for getting the right cards in hand; PRO TIP: After failing a riddle you can use Bilbo's action to spend a resource to; know what action you should take first? That's right. Imladris Stargazer is definitely great for this quest!
• Dwarven Tomb & Stand and Fight - almost exclusively used to grab Outlands allies
