The final quest in the Shadows of Mirkwood Cycle is better with Legolas. I like that he can speed up progress through the four quest stages. His threat cost is also slightly lower, which benefits the team in this difficult quest. Power him up with weapons.
Support defense with Winged Guardian and Gondorian Spearman. Vassal of the Windlord is an extra attacker to help Brand kill enemies engaged with other players, while they can also be used to fuel Rain of Arrows to add to the damage done by Thalin. Forest Snare is added to deal with Attercops or Hill Trolls after they have been feinted.
A pretty straightforward combat deck, but it needs heavy questing support as this deck does almost nothing in that area.
