I think you have not considered fully how you cannot give attachments to Sméagol

I always thought it was a mess to no let Smeagol get the One Ring. That's why i built the deck without any attachment on him except the Ring.

So you attach The One Ring to him even if you can't, that's thematic so no issue.

But how about Resourceful (only for heroes you control, so I guess you first wait to play Sword-thain?) and how can you play Steward of Gondor or the Tactics and Spirit unique allies (since the contract only allows for NON-UNIQUE off sphere cards)?
